Hi,

Xine keeps crashing on my computer. For example, when ever I press ok or
cancel button in the settings dialog or use the menu that pops up with
right mouse button, both xine and gxine crash with bus error but doesn't
dump core. I cannot start xine from gdb because it crashes right away
with SIGTRAP and gdb says that "The program no longer exists." so I
cannot 'cont'. If I try to attach gdb to running xine process, my system
locks up. Kernel doesn't panic or anything -- it's just plain dead. No
ping or ssh.

Earlier versions of libxine (at least rc3a) and FreeBSD-CURRENT behave
the same. Any pointers? I'd really like to get this fixed.

% uname -a
FreeBSD petuh.dielocalwarez.com 5.2-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT #3: Mon

root@petuh.dielocalwarez.com:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/PETUH i386

Thanks,
Markus
