If you want to disable it temporarily, move it out of the way, and move it back when you want to use it again. Adding an rc.conf option might help some people but would be repetative since the test to see if the file is readable determines if it should be run. Maybe checking to see if it is executable? Or remove those tests, and go with an rc.conf option. For now, move the file to a different name. -- Joseph A.
