            Bug ID: 200459
Summary: [nvme] Ioctl for passthrough can hang if called during
                    nvme reset.
           Product: Base System
           Version: 10.1-RELEASE
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: misc
          Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: oren.berman@pmcs.com

The ioctl for PASSTHROUGH in the nvme driver should return an ERROR if the
controller is in reset state, for example checking the ctrlr->is_resetting bit,
Otherwise the ioctl might hang.

Oren
