...and given that even three developers by now have already been
pissed of by the terrible floppy-tape handling _via the well-
documented FDC_ (ok, comparably well-documented), i doubt anybody is
going to burn his time and wrestle his brain in such a device.

(People like me coming from a hardware background distrust anything
hanging off a Centronics-style port that is not a printer anyway.
This interface has not been designed with high-speed data
communications in mind, at least not the ``classical'' Centronics
port.)
