I did a make on a new kernel, and got some errors. I noticed that I when I
did a make depend on that other kernel it gave me the warning I posted
about. So I thought I should check to make sure that I wouldnt get the same
error when I did a make on the GENERIC kernel. It turns out I did, and you
answered my question. There must have been something else I did wrong. I
will probably be posting another question soon...
