i've tried emailing the port maintainer thats listed on the www.freebsd.org/ports/ page for xmame, but either the web page has his email wrong, or it doesn't exist any more. here's the problem: whenever i compile xmame from the ports tree i compile it without SDL support, it compiles fine..but when i do a 'make install' it fails because it tries to rename a binary called xmame.SDL to xmame. it fails because the xmame.SDL file doen't exist...because i compiled without SDL support. any ideas? i just cvsup'd my ports tree this morning, and i'm running 4.4-STABLE also i'm not sure if this is the right place to be asking this, but how do i get the xmame.svga binary? i want to run mame in fullscreen mode from the command line, not from within Xwindows...how do i do this? thanks. one last note, please cc me to any replies because i'm not subscribed to this mailing list. thanks nathan _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
