I am currently using 2 RAID5 arrays with a Supermicro P6DGH under 4.9-STABLE
compiled on March 6, 2004. System is SMP with two PII/300's and an
Intel Pro100+ card. No problems.

I'm using the ahc driver with the onboard Adaptec 789X dual-channel
controller. The primary channel has 5 23GB Seagate Elite drives on it, the
secondary 4 46GB Seagate Elite drives. The RAID arrays are not used for
booting or swap.

I recently had to replace a bad disk and the replacement was very easy.
