The aic driver hasn't yet been ported to CAM.  I think Brian Beattie
<beattie@aracnet.com> is working on it, you can ask him how it's going.
I wouldn't count on it anytime soon.

So, you can:
- get another (supported) SCSI card
- downgrade to 2.2.8 again
