Before disabling apm I experienced numerous random kernel panics,
but I assumed it was due to misc kernel stability issues in current.

After disabling apm in the bios and in the kernel ...

... -current is ROCK SOLID for me!!!

I have had NO PANICS for a couple of weeks!!!

Previously I had at least 1 panic every other day, and sometimes more.
