810a controllers are working on a PC164 so they should an a PC164LX too.
810ae do not work on a PC164 so it's open on a PC164LX.

In general an 875 should work in every chip revision, but it's always
possible for a card manufacturer to break this.
Noname cards and original Symbios cards have done best in my expirience.
