I just started using RELENG_4 and started experiencing an odd serial problem... with my mb sio ports, and a number of sio cards, half a dozen different cables, 3 different external modems, they all act as if they work , they even flash when you type at them, but they really cant do anything. I am using an internal one right now that is working but really need to solve this, I have no idea what is wrong and wondered if anyone else has experienced any oddities I have tried many AT commands to fix it, like turning on echo, turning on verbal result codes etc, I am being led to believe it is some setting with the port, I tried "sh /etc/rc.serial modem <every possible option>" Thanks Luke To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
