Dear all. upgraded to -CURRENT on 14 June 2004 (West Indonesia Time) I got error messages; ad4: FAILURE - already active DMA on this device ad4: setting up DMA failed ad4: timeout sending command=c8 ad4: error issuing DMA coammand ad4: TIMEOUT - WRITE_DMA retrying (2 retries left) LBA=14610207 to solve this problem temporary I turn off dma with add hw.ata.ata_dma=0: line to loader.conf BUT turn off ata DMA make my freebsd box become very slow :-( are there any permanent solutions ? with best regards, -dikshie-
