It seems that it would be useful to work this concept into the newbus system. Not having one of these boxes, I can only speculate about how to accomplish this task. For now, it seems to be the right thing. Alternatively, you could provide dummy stub isadma routines that would cause a warning to be printed when they are used, or panic the machine or something to get people's attention. That might be a good interrum solution to moving these files to the md config files.
