It looks as if Charles is right, since we're seeing Ethernet addresses
for the NetBIOS stuff.  We shouldn't be seeing the ping to he.net on
this interface at all.  This would mean that you haven't set up your
routing right.  Check your /etc/ppp/ppp.linkup file.
