The person listed in the Whom: line is not necessarily the maintainer of the port. That line only tells you who created the very first version of the Makefile and nothing more. Of course, it is often the case that the person listed there and the maintainer is the same person, but maintainers have right to remove their names from the MAINTAINER= line, I believe. Cheers, Max
