>Description:
After installing KDE3 from ports (/ports/x11/kdebase3), I've noticed
that many KDE3 applications are "pitch black". The only thing I can see
in Control Center for example, is the the top menu. Everything else is
pitch black and text can only be read by selecting the appropriate
submenu with a left-click. When I started Kate, the entire right part
(where the text of an open document goes) was pitch black too.

I asked some people around on IRC channels and found out I am not the
only one having these problems, there were at least 2 people having
exactly the same problems.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install KDE3 from /usr/ports/x11/kdebase3, run either Control Center or Kate.
