Hello,

Is it at all possible to build openoffice 680 milestone (alias 1.9) on
freebsd 4?

I'm using 4.11-release with gcc 3.3.4 on top. I'm trying to build m85
milestone with port framework (removing safety catches from makefile as
I've seen that there's a patch addressing these).

Somewhere along a build (and specifically, at making 'vcl' target) I'm
getting linking error in stl port shared libs (libstlport...) on
unresolved 'pthread_mutex_lock'. Looking into symbols I see that, indeed,
oo.o libstl... want pthread_mutex_lock (and likes) while libc_r.so.4
declares _pthread_mutex_lock etc. Is there a way to workaround this? A
patch? Did someone report success in similar environment?

BTW, dragonflybsd (where I was heading) there will be the same problem.
