Yes, NFS client under -CURRENT has some problems.

I run a 3.0-CURRENT system which is an NFS client of a Solaris 2.5.1
system.

I have /usr/ports, /usr/src, /usr/obj and /usr/CTM (where I store
my CTM deltas) NFS mounted from the Solaris box.

(As you can see I'm trying to run FreeBSD in less than 500MB of
disk space!!).

With /usr/src and /usr/obj NFS mounted I have not been able to "make
world".

It usually fails when my log file of the make world output gets to
about 1MB (7MB is a the output of "make world" with NOTCL).

The freebsd-current list has mentioned several times that there are
problems with both NFS client and server. I believe that Terry
recently made some changes to the NFS server code so maybe thats
not so bad.

I read the cvs-all and freebsd-current list and am waiting for
a mega commit that fixes NFS! - I'm not holding my breath though 8-)

Possibly some of the problems I have seen (corruption of files) are
related to the recent VM instability which seems to be almost fixed,
so maybe I should try another NFS mounted make world.

Comments from others ??
