Whenever i try to use disklabel -e wd1 on my new hard drive, i get:

wd1: cannot find label (no disk label)

So i add a section in /etc/disktab for my hard drive, like so:

    st51080a|Seagate ST51080A 1.08GB: \
	:dt=ESDI:ty=winchester:se#512:nt#64:ns#63:nc#525:sf: \
	:pa#2116800:oa#0:ta=4.2BSD:ba#4096:fa#512:\
	:pc#2116800:oc#0: \

And then i try disklabel -w -r wd1 st51080a and get:

    st51080a: unknown disk type

I tried rebooting and that didn't help. What's going on?

thanks
rone
