Bah, don't make me come over there and slap you unconscious with a
fresh halibut. :)

You know as well as I do that the end-users of our product don't make
such distinctions, they just want FreeBSD to interoperate with the
rest of the world as seamlessly as possible.  This would hardly be the
only compromise currently in FreeBSD dedicated to that principal, nor
the worst by far.
