Synopsis: rebuild of pcre breaks too many things

State-Changed-From-To: open->closed
State-Changed-By: arved
State-Changed-When: Mon Dec 17 16:42:41 UTC 2012
State-Changed-Why:
this is a known limitation. The PR does not provide new insights.

Please notice there is an entry in /usr/ports/UPDATING how to update.

There are also several workarounds,
e.g. keeping the old shared libraries like portupgrade does
or using libmap.conf
