There is a bug in the openal port (or rather in FreeBSD's standard gcc
linker definition files, causing a problem in the openal port) which
causes simgear's configure to fail to detect openal, and instead of
bombing during configure it goes on and tries to build simgear without
openal. Unfortunately, it's not easy to fix.
