greetings,

when doing a netstat -a| grep LISTEN, I obtain the following:

Port       State       Service
22/tcp     open        ssh
25/tcp     open        smtp
110/tcp    open        pop-3
587/tcp    open        submission


what the hell is 587?  and do I need it?
