GET /~gpalmer HTTP/1.0

HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently
Date: Thu, 26 Feb 1998 18:23:00 GMT
Server: Apache/1.2.5

Connection: close
Content-Type: text/html

<HTML><HEAD>
<TITLE>301 Moved Permanently</TITLE>
</HEAD><BODY>
<H1>Moved Permanently</H1>
The document has moved <A HREF="http://www.freebsd.org/~gpalmer/">here</A>.<P>;
</BODY></HTML>

Seems that the WWW server does understand what to do, maybe some browsers
don't though ...
