Now that we have 3 versions of mysql available in the tree is it time for a $MYSQL_PORT as opposed to all apps requiring mysql323 or it's libraries. Up until now I've worked around this by symlinking libmysqlclient.so.12 (mysql 4.0.13) -> libmysqlclient.so.10 so that ports will not try to install mysql323. Just a thought, ideas anyone ?
