MIME is evil when combined with gnats.  MIME depends on mail headers
being left intact.  Gnats does its own filtering and rewriting of the
message, without paying much attention to MIME parts, and the result is
an unusable mess of a patch that cannot be applied in any sensible
manner.

Can you post this patch inline in a followup to this PR, without MIME ?
