No, that much isn't; typically that suggests that your linuxulator 
isn't working right.  You need to test this on a squeaky-clean system 
(and yes, that probably counts as a bug).  Mentioning that more than 
just ldconfig wasn't working would have helped the situation a lot.

I'm still not convinced that the port is actually broken per se., but 
Marcel probably needs to comment on that.
