I was meaning the "new" awk, I didn't knew the old awk were available
(or even remembered anymore ;-). 

I see kawk is still there..:-(. I really see no reason why we don't
replace gawk with nawk as OpenBSD did long ago. Why use GPL when we can
have it free ??
