Subject: SMP kernel causes samba crash under 3.3-RELEASE

I have been having problems with samba under 3.3-RELEASE, and finally
tried going back to 1.9 - same problem. This suggested the problem
was elsewhere, and I have discovered that the SMP kernel seems to be
causing the crashes. Without the SMP kernel large file copies behave
normally; with it, crash.

I have not tired turning off oplocks or the 2.06pre2, but will try that
next.

There
are no errors in any of the logs, other than on the NT SP5 client.
