Its not working (freezes) but I have enough time for testing or if you
need further details I can give you all you want to know.

The kernel even does not bootup with a removed pcmcia network-card,
maybe this is important, maybe not - I dont know.

My problem is as long as this does not work, I can not use my laptop.

If no interrupt can be found or whatever, is it possible not to freeze
the complete OS that I could still boot up?

This would be great so I
can continue some of my work in the background with the latest stable
kernel, then boot-up with generic kernel for networking until the
problem is solved.

If you have a patch for anything, send it to me as attachment please,
this avoids problems with my MUA.
