Can you see my red face from there?  :)

I have now been chastised both publicly and privately for not reporting
this when I first encountered it and for not developing a patch to fix
it.  I am in the process of getting ready to upgrade to 2.1.5 and once
that is finished I will attempt to recreate the problem and if it still
exists I will also see about fixing it.

Again, I apologize for not reporting the bug and there is no excuse for
not having developed a patch for it.
