samba 2.0.6pre2 also fails with my SMP kernel but works with SMP services removed. mptable doesn't indicate anything truly wierd. 2.0.6pre2 with a single CPU is not very fast, but no crashes. OS is 3.3-RELEASE; MB is Evererex PO6200 with 2 PPro 200, 64MB RAM. Board works fine with everything else; NT reports the board as MPC 1.4 compliant. But, it is a wierd board.
