--- Comment #14 from Dexuan Cui <decui@microsoft.com> ---
(In reply to Dexuan Cui from comment #13)

When I got the kernel messages in comment 13, dtrace showed this:

[root@decui-b11 ~]# dtrace -n 'fbt::*disk_resize:entry
fbt::g_part_*resize:entry {stack(5);}'
dtrace: description 'fbt::*disk_resize:entry fbt::g_part_*resize:entry '
matched 7 probes
CPU     ID                    FUNCTION:NAME
  0  36534                disk_resize:entry
  0  13496              g_disk_resize:entry

and g_part_resize() was not called.
