I disagree.  I routineles pick up 10-11 satellites, and I'm about
half-way between the pole and the equator.   Heck, I just looked, and
I've got 8 locked on right now.

Wow, the worst I've *ever* seen was 4 satellites here, but it may be
that the GPS satellites have orbits that prefer the US?
