Yup, I think it's in the initial sysinstall screens. It asks which boot manager. There's 3 options. Install FreeBSD boot manager, leave boot record unchanged and i can't remember the third. > OK, you say that FreeBSD is slice 2 of 3. Not sure what that is. it's another boot manager that comes with the cd, and it's available on the ftp mirrors aswell. Are any of the slices "extended > partitions?" yup dos fdisk output: Partition Status Type Vol label Mbytes System c: 1 PRI DOS WIN98 4001 FAT32 2 A Non-DOS 3561 3 EXT DOS 12002 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Logical DOS Drive Information Drv Vol Label Mbytes System Usage d: 12002 FAT32 100% When playing with the different options in os-bs, I tried setting the Active partition to FreeBSD and Win98 partitions, but it didn't work. I've done this type of setup quite a few times before, but i've never had so many partitions when doing it...
