Video: Creative Annihilator PRO (Geforce DDR chipset) Sound: Creative SoundBlaster PCI (Emu10K1 chipset) >Description: I've compiled kernel with option 'device apm0 at nexus? enable' and after reboot machine hang after start of loading kernel. Using flags 0x20 in apm configuration has no successful results. Flashing new bios from Intel site has no successful results. If machine has warm rebooted after Windows2K Adwanced Server with APM enable than APM in FreeBSD work fine. If apm has enabled from kernel configuration utilty and wait about 10 sec before continuing booting APM fork fine too. If waiting will be less then about 10 sec FreeBSD hangs. ======================================================================== This is dmesg output ======================================================================== Copyright (c) 1992-2002 The FreeBSD Project. Disable apm in kernel configuration file. (FreeBSD will be boot correctly, but APM will no works) OR 2. Disable apm in kernel configuration file. Boot with '-c' switch in loader. Enter kernel configuration utility. Type 'en apm' for enabling apm. Wait about 10 sec. Type 'q' for continuing bootstrap procedure. FreeBSD will be boot correctly AND APM will works fine. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
