rding FreeBSD 7.0-RC3:
The 3-disk FreeBSD 7.0-RC3 download installed great desktop-wise; this is a=
 big stable improvement-couple things below, opera and openoffice install v=
ia ports has some quirky errors?
OpenOffice install:initially I installed the recommended JDK files as per O=
penOffice 2.3.1 port via /usr/ports/java/jdk16into /usr/ports/distfilesbsd-=
jdk16-patches-3.tar.bz2jdk-6u3-fcs-bin-b05-jrl-24_sep_2007.jarjdk-6u3-fcs-m=
ozilla_headers-b05-unix-24_sep_2007.jarjdk-6u3-fcs-src-b05-jrl-24_sep_2007.=
jartzupdater-1_3_0-2007h.zip

then I
portinstall -rRp jave/jdk16-installed ok.portinstall -rRp editors/openoffic=
e.org-2-installed ok.
$ openoffice.org-2.3.1
javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!I18N: Operating system d=
oesn't support locale "en_US"

Opera install:#after installing opera and the linux-plugin for it I now get=
$opera --versionOpera 9.25 . Build 687 for FreeBSD. Qt library 3.3.5.$opera=
Opera encountered a problem during plug-in setup.Plug-ins will not work pro=
perly.Check your installation.
Could not start plug-in executable 'operapluginwrapper'
Searched directory:
/usr/local/share/opera/bin/

so, anyone know what the fix is or what these errors are ?yes, I can supply=
 any other specific detailed log errors if you like, I just thought heres a=
 heads up.thanx.
