Just bought a new HP DL140 G3 server with dual CPU, 4GB RAM, 2x250GB SATA HD on HP embedded SAS controller but couldn't install 6.1-stable because the harddisks are not detected.

I then tried version 6.2-beta2 and 7.0-current on it. Though able to detect the drives and completed the installation, the server crashed when trying to restart from harddisk.

I have found that the HP embedded SAS controller was detected by mpt driver on booting up using 6.2-beta2 but not on version 6.1. Does anyone has any advice as on how I can resolve this problem because I'm stucked and desperate
