Systems that have been updated from 25th Jan version to -current
show those messages:
Mar 16 10:05:10 cicely12 kernel: nfs send error 40 for server c5:/var/d1/home
Mar 16 10:05:10 cicely12 kernel: nfs send error 40 for server cicely9:/var/d7
Mar 16 10:06:06 cicely12 kernel: nfs send error 40 for server cicely9:/var/d2
Mar 16 10:06:48 cicely12 kernel: nfs send error 40 for server cicely9:/var/d2
Mar 16 10:08:06 cicely12 last message repeated 525 times
Mar 16 10:11:47 cicely12 kernel: nfs send error 40 for server c5:/var/d1/home
Mar 16 10:11:52 cicely12 kernel: nfs send error 40 for server cicely9:/var/d2

This is an alpha, but I'm seeing this on a i386 client as well.
Both mentioned servers are some month older 5.x systems.
NFS is done with UDP over IPv6.

BTW What is error 40 and were are the error numbers listed?
