Are you sure about that? A few months ago I hosed my / partition by mounting a 1GB Dos drive and reading a file. I've learned that if you ever see this error message: /kernel mountmsdosdf(): Warning root directory is not a multiple of the clustersize in length IMMEDIATELY, unmount your dos partitions or something is going to be lost.
