Oooooh, this will confuse everybody who's already been slightly dealing with disk setups. It's an arguably ugly, but long-standing tradition to number the (physical) sectors on each track starting at one. ``Correcting'' this now and only in one of 20 million operating systems will violate the principle of least surprise.
