Hi,

A port I am maintaining just updated its version from 1.97E to 1.97Ed.
I can't set PORTVERSION to 1.97Ed since letter strings are not
allowed. If I change it to 1.97E.d, portlint argues that 1.97E.d is
less than 1.97E, and it also fails. Is it appropriate if I just leave
PORTVERSION as 1.97E and bump PORTREVISION instead?
