Talk to Mezz, that was his thing.  I don't install KDE.

It was removed when gnome-vfs switched to using the new Freedesktop menu
specification.  We are now doing exactly what Linux or any other GNOME
2.9 distribution is doing.  I've been through the code briefly, and I'm
not so sure this is easily fixable.
