The DOSBOOT.COM loads the master boot record off the drive and gives control to it; in efect, it is a soft (targetable) reboot. The hacks you could do would choose the target. The source is either in the i386 directory or in the netboot directory (I forget). The file you will want to copy to your DOS disk as DOSBOOT.COM is dosboot.nohdr (again from memory -- check the docs and makefiles in the sources). This will be useless unless you can get booted and running to the point where the sources are installed and you can boot normally (if with a lot of effort). In otherwords, think about this *later*.
