Hi! Thank you for tracking this problem down! An issue was created on GitHub: https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd-base-graphics/issues/4 I have a similar problem with an UltraHD monitor plugged to a Haswell desktop and I get a blank screen when using the native resolution.
