here's the thing:

suspend hangs my laptop. hybernate works. hybernate is handled by the
BIOS (the os does not know about it) but depend on apm being turned on.
suspend is handled by the os but hangs the laptop. i couldn't find a
way to disable the suspend feature without disabling apm altogether.

is there a way?

thanks,

-oscar

p.s. what's the meaning of the flags for apm in the kernel config file?
mines are 0x31 (the default) but i couldn't find any meaning...
