Have you gone to Preferences->Multimedia->Plugins and added
/usr/local/lib/flash to the plugin path in Opera?  I'm using the
netscape-linux flash plugin - all I had to do was add
/usr/local/lib/netscape-linux/plugins to my Opera-plugin path as
described above......works fine.
