 Well, if you put a suitable subject for these messages (like
"MASTER_SITE update for port xxx/yyy") I believe you can skip the PR's..
But sincerely, the committers should comment on this.

 Hmmm, these URLs should be exactly what the line stands for (MASTER
sites), or else the port team will face chicken/egg problems...
 In other words: skip these /distfiles/ URLs, these are to be backup sites
for the primary sites !
