Hi,

I am looking for experienced s/w dev engineer, or good sysadmin with a not that bad s/w dev experience, with a strong background in Unix security (some knowledge of Windows would also be appreciated). The job is to work on developping & maintaining security software (audit, monitoring, logs analysis, password analysis, etc ...) that is used as part of a large outsourcing service. This is a position within a large company (not a startup ;-) and is based in Mountain View, California.

* Musts

.Experienced in computer security (system management, audit, intrusion detection, system monitoring, user management, cryptography, PKI, etc.)
.Fluent in C/C++, Java, (Perl/Python is a plus)
.Good working knowledge of different Unix(es) and "not that bad" Windows (NT/2k)
.Knowledge of shell scripting
.Software engineering experience (+2 years)
.Ability to work in a distributed team environment
.Excellent team player with good communication skills
.BS/BA with 3+ years of related experience

* Desired:

.Basic knowledge of Trusted O/S (Trusted Solaris, Virtual Vault, Trusted Linux)
.Knowledge of code development, source control systems, and debugging tools
.Knowledge of OpenView or other monitoring tools

There's **NO** relocation option so, please, answer only if you **already** are working in the US.

thanks,

-philippe
