The following reply was made to PR ports/146545; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Alson van der Meulen <alson+bugs@alm.flutnet.org> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org, mainhardt@oncampus.de Cc: Subject: Re: ports/146545: gio-querymodules in devel/glib20 Date: Sat, 12 Jun 2010 17:40:44 +0200 The same problem also appears to break the build of devel/gobject-introspection for me on 7.2-R. The build hangs in the first giscan (GISCAN GLib-2.0.gir) if gio-fam-backend is installed (which is a RUN_DEPENDS), but can be successfully completed if I remove gio-fam-backend before the build. My workaround is to move gio-querymodules out of the way and replace it with an empty executable, this allows the gio-fam-backend build to complete after glib and gobject-introspection are built.
